I started a no cheat run for my first playthrough, but became so frustrated with navigating through the inactive lava zone to find the thermal plant, I threw in the towel and did whatever it took to just complete the game. I have used the "warpforward", "item", "spawn", "nocost" and "invisible" console commands at various times and it never prevented me from gaining all achievements. It has been widely reported on this forum that using the console has no bearing on achievements and that has been my experience. You can literally obliterate any entity like Chelicerate by merely scanning it as a blueprint that you already have unlocked.Īnother important use would be scanning those Coral Brides and Kelproot, clearing your way into caves and narrow passages, I mean who knows.Originally posted by star lite:if you use console-> yes. The Current Object shows which item are you pointing toward. It has been given 2 pointers, NewID and Current Object. Objects Scanner is a very important script. If you've got an item stuck in your inventory, you can use clearinventory console command to clear everything and before disabling ID-> Script, restore all IDs or you will lose the Original Items Definitions. Although it is safe to use it in fabricators, but you can neither remove nor shift it to another storage! And if you've restored the ID, do not attempt to remove the item which was stored with altered ID.
